The interior of the iX1 is one of a kind to say the least, with an almost too good to be true atmosphere. In fact, some of the interior features of the iX1 are a first of their kind for BMW such as the modern central console. To make the cabin less cluttered and sleeker, the infotainment screen stretches across the cabin space and is simply partnered with a stylish air vent. Controls for gear selection are located conveniently on a floating arm rest on the driver’s side, leaving the rest of the controls to be located on the steering wheel.

As optional extras, you can choose luxurious features such as ambient mood lighting, a panoramic glass roof and an upgraded, crisp-sounding Harman/Kardon sound system.

With distinctive strong lines and perfectly configured proportions, the iX1 is certainly a sight to see. The new standard, but de-selectable blue accents give the new iX1 an electrifying presence, it’s certain that this model sets a bold standard for the future.

The slim adaptive headlights at the front of the car extend far into the flank, giving the model a brand new look. The rear headlights are three-dimensional and L shaped, with an interplay of transparent and dark smoked glass for an added atmosphere.

The side view of the vehicle is incredibly impressive, as it showcases the tough driving capabilities of the electric SUV.

When it comes to the infotainment system in the iX1, BMW have incorporated the very best technology they’ve created to date. As standard, each model comes with BMW’s IDrive 8 system, a 10 inch central touch screen and an 11 inch digital driver’s display joined together to create a flowing and continuous screen.

In order to make the driving experience even more practical, the SUV has voice control incorporated into its already innovative technology. The technology allows for the driver to easily access the features they require without taking their eyes off of the road and their hands off of the steering wheel.
